Email

SUCH RANDOMNESS THERE IS NO CATAGORY: # 98

So I've been productive on my first day! Partially due to my excitement over the project finally starting and because of down time at work (opps).

I've created a new email address and transfered all my "saved" emails to it. (I have to send out an email to everyone in my address book to let them know I changed it.) I'll still keep my old email while I transition to the new one, and probably keep it for junk or spam or when places require one but you don't want to give out your real one.

1st Day – 1st Accomplishment

SUCH RANDOMNESS THERE IS NO CATAGORY: # 101

Today is the official start date to my 101 in 1001 days, and I am quite excited. I’ve been waiting for September 29th to get here for the last few weeks. While I waited, I worked on my list of things which didn’t sound to hard and coming up with the first 45 – 50 things wasn’t! But the last half of the list was a lot harder. With time on my hands to wait for my start date, I found myself tweaking my list over and over. I finalized the list this week and posted it earlier to lock myself in – no more changes!

Well today is day 1 and I have completed my first thing – number 100, creating a blog. Yes I technically created the blog in August, before my official start date. But I wanted to know what I was doing (well at least a little bit) before 9/29.

I created the blog with the intent to write about each item completed (number 101) but I will probably end up using it for more then just this adventure, but we’ll see!

The List

I start my "101 things in 1001 days" journey on Wednesday. The item(s) I'm working on will be italizied and all completed items will be in bold. (I'll be coming back to this post quite a bit to update. I will also lable 101 in 1001 on each entry where an item has been completed.)

Here is my finalized list:
BECAUSE I LOVE YOU:
  1. Take a trip with Derek
  2. Take Derek on a date night of his choice, and pay for everything (2/3)
  3. Go to a movie of his choice (without complaining)
  4. Spend one day doing whatever he wants
  5. Buy him something “just because” (that he’s been talking about / wanting)
  6. Renew a magazine subscription
  7. Have his car detailed
  8. Set up a trip / tickets to see Michigan (football/basketball)
ROCKSTAR MENTALITY:
  1. Take multi-vitamin & calcium supplement every day for a month
  2. Establish and follow through on a nighttime routine for a month
  3. Get a nice camera
  4. Buy a pair of True Religion jeans
  5. Get a sewing machine
  6. Get a car charger / player for ipod
  7. Get a tattoo
  8. Get a massage every 6 months
  9. Get adjusted every 6 months
GOD BLESSED THIS BROKEN ROAD:
  1. Take an “us” picture every month
  2. Take 1 year anniversary pictures
  3. Go on a sleigh ride
  4. Go apple picking
  5. Go on a picnic
  6. Get a couples massage
  7. Check into a hotel for a night “just because”
  8. Stay at a Bed & Breakfast
MY NEAREST & DEAREST:
  1. Have a dinner party
  2. Go on a girls trip (day/weekend/mini vacation ect)
  3. Do something with a friend once a month (19/32)
  4. Send 20 cards (just because/birthday ect)
  5. Take a day/weekend trip with my sister
  6. Spend a day with my niece/nephews, one on one
  7. Go to the Stowe craft fair with Mom
  8. Go to the driving range with my dad, and let him teach me

THIS AINT YO MAMA’S BOOK CLUB:
  1. Read 5 classics (0/5)
  2. Read a book from the NYT best seller list each year (3/4)
  3. Read 100 books (100/100)
  4. Start a book exchange with my sister-in-law's
BE A MAN:
  1. Learn at least 1 player on each team in MLB (2011 / 2012 seasons)
  2. Watch 2 football games (per season) of D’s choosing (6/6)
  3. Visit / watch a game at a stadium I’ve never been to
  4. Go to a Red Sox game
  5. Go to a Bruins game
  6. Go to a Celtics game
GETTING THERE IS HALF THE BATTLE:
  1. Hike a mountain
  2. Do a 5K
  3. Run the second half of the Burlington marathon
  4. Take a yoga class
  5. Walk / Run in a charity event
  6. Go Snowboarding / skiing
WOE IS ME:
  1. Go skeet shooting with Kelly
  2. Donate blood
  3. Don’t bite / pick nails for a week
  4. Stick to budget for one month (3/3)
  5. Eliminate credit card debt
  6. Donate to a charity each year (2/4)
  7. Donate $5.00 for each item not done/completed in full
  8. Put 5% in the joint account each month
LAW ABIDING CITIZEN:
  1. Don’t buy anything unnecessary for 7 days (7/7)
  2. Don’t go out to lunch for one week (Monday-Friday) (3/3)
  3. Don’t say anything negative for a week (7/7)
BECAUSE I SAID SO:
