Octobers edition of all the things I really loved:
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
These are the best doughnuts I've ever had. The first time I tried one was in San Fran on a weekend trip with my grandparents. My grandfather and I went out in search of a store around 1030 at night when he found out I'd never had one. I was hooked after one bite. We went twice while we were in MB (I easily could have gone every day) and my doughnut of choice was the glazed raspberry. Its a raspberry filled donughnut but instead of sugar on top, its glazed. And they are always warm. I wish I could have one right now.
Converse All Stars.
When we were waiting in the airport, I saw a girl with a pair of low top Converse All Stars. I told D that I thought I wanted a pair in a cute/fun color. When we were on vacation, we stopped at a Tanger Outlet and they had a Converse store so we went in. D really wanted me to get a pair of laceless ones. I wasn't sure how I felt about them. I tried on a pair and instantly loved them. I got a navy blue pair - so not a cute/fun color but more practical which is good since I've been wearing them a lot!
Erin Condren planner
I got this planner back in August and I love it; which is good because its an expensive planner. Its a serious planner, with thick/heavy paper with cute sayings, designs and colors. There are stickers in the back to mark things like appointments, weddings, date nights, birthdays and blank ones so you can make your own, lined paper, a little folder and a cute zippered "pouch" to store things. You get to pick the cover design (there are so many to choose from) and you can personalize it (your name, your family name, business name ect). When you get your planner it comes with some address lables (with the same cover design and whatever personalization you choose) and coupons for future purchases I will definatly be getting another planner from here next year. (I got the design below in teal and brown.)
CHI Hair straightener
I know I have straight hair, but I still have a hair straightener. I usually just buy a cheaper one since I don't have curly hair, but have always coveted a CHI straightener. I finally broke down and bought one a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. It only takes a few minutes to work all the kinks and creases out of my hair now! With other straighteners it would take 10-15 minutes (at least). Plus my hair has less fly-aways and is smoother and shinier with the CHI.
