Being Thankful.

This is the last “Thankful Thursday” post. It’s sort of bittersweet.

This week I am thankful for

… Another long weekend coming up.

… A new James Patterson book coming out on Monday.

… Our first Christmas in our new house.

… Being able to celebrate Christmas with all my families.

… Having my thank you cards all done and ready to be mailed.

This is the last “What I love Wednesday” post. Drum roll please ……

• I love that I was able to spend time with family this weekend.
• I love that I was able to see family I haven’t seen in a while, or get to see often.
• I love my husband <3
• I love the Sweet Tarts merry mix A got me.
• I love that this is a short week – that started on a Tuesday.

Obsessions

This week's tangents are about some of my obsessions.

1. I'm obsessed with nalgene bottles and have way to many. In all in different colors, designes and sizes of course!

2. I'm obsessed with reality TV (Teen Mom, The Kardashians, Sweet Home Alabama ect) and shows where I'm about 10 (or more) years older then the target audience (Secret Life of the American Teenager, Make It Or Break It ect).

3. I'm obsessed with chapstick. My favorite being Chap Stick brand in Blue Raspberry.

Thursday's Thankfulness

This week I am thankful ...

* For my husband.
* For my family.
* For my friends.
* For my job.
* For my health.
* For the time I will be spending with family this weekend.
* For finally being able to workout after 3 weeks of only being able to walk (not fast or on a incline either. I was going a little crazy!)

Loving on Wednesday

Good Morning!

Here is what I'm loving this week:

* Time with my parents and their friends this weekend.
* The dinner date I had Monday night!
* A productive Sunday morning and a lazy Sunday afternoon.
* Our first fire in the fire place!
* That Christmas is less then a week away. I'm so excited to give D his gifts - I think he's going to love them :)

1. My favorite Christmas cd's are the "A Very Special Christmas" ones. All volumes.

2. I used to read The Night Before Christmas to my brother and sister on Christmas Eve when we were growing up.

Changes 'round here

I think I'm going to change up the triple tangent Tuesday, what I love Wednesday's and thankful Thursdays as of the first week in January. Instead of doing an individual post on each of those days, I'm going to do one post on Wednesdays and list three things. One being a tangent, one being what I'm loving that week and the last one being something I am thankful for that week. Not that I have many readers or that any of your worlds would come crashing down without these posts or a heads up on the changes, but nonetheless, I thought it would be nice to let you know what to expect in the future.

This week's thankful Thursday -


 I am thankful the only shopping I have left is for D's stocking.

I am thankful all my Christmas wrapping is done

I am thankful all our cards and presents have been mailed.

I am thankful for being able to wear jeans all week.

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree

What I'm loving this week:


* We're decorating our tree tonight. You better believe we'll be listening to lots of Christmas music as we do!

* That Monday was the 1 month anniversary for us being in our house.

* Being able to finally park in my garage, thanks to my FIL!

* That we had such a fun weekend. Saturday was fun (but long) and Sunday was a complete lazy day!

Triplets

This week's triple tangents:

1. I still wear my retainers a few times a week. I would rather where them then ever have braces again.

2. I love Target. It might be my favorite store.

3. Once I could sleep on my stomach again after my toe nail issue, I have slept towards the bottom of the bed so my feet could hang off the mattress (so my toe wasn't pushing against anything) and I have continued to sleep that way.

The manicure I got yesterday with H.

The warm weather we're having. (I know we'll pay for it later, but I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.)

The day trip we're taking on Saturday. D and I are going to NH with his Mom and step dad to see a future Michigan Wolverine basketball player's game. Yes, I'm driving 3 hours to see a high school basketball game (like I won't be seeing enough of those starting next week), but D is so excited to see this kid play and his Mom and I get to do some shopping!

Top Only

1. I like the toilet paper to come from the top. I will switch it at my house, and sometimes at my families!

2. My finger nails are long (for me) and look nice, but I can't stop picking at them.

3. I am not a fan of driving in the dark. I become such a nervous and anxious driver. Skills come out that would get me an A++ in drivers ed and compare me to an 85 year old woman. I drive 5 miles per hour under the speed limit, my hands are at 10 and 2 and the blinker comes on way before it should!!

I know this is a long time coming but we wanted to hang frames and needed my dad's help and then not having internet for about two weeks has made this post occur now, three weeks after move in day. But better late then never :) This will probably be the last house post until the spring/summer when we do landscaping stuff ... unless something crazy cool happens in the house before then.
