I actually did this in April when I got my hair cut, but forgot this was one of the things on the list until I looked over it again.
I have an amazing hair dresser. She is super cute, so nice and always makes me look good! She always wants to do something cool, fun, different with my hair, but knows I’m too much of a baby to do anything to drastic. She knows my one requirement (that all hair can be pulled back in a ponytail – no bobby pins/clips/headbands necessary). I did the post wedding hack when we got back from our honeymoon last July and was in desperate need for a healthy trim. With the marathon about 2 months away (or so I thought) I decided to have it cut and thinned so it would be so hot and heavy when I was running. She went right to town and gave me exactly what I was looking for and wanted.
I’m going back in October for a healthy trip and to see how long my hair is and how much time she thinks it will take to get to a length where I can donate it for locks of love but still have enough hair to meet my one requirement J
